I hate making wedding invitee lists
Well World, it looks like I'm starting to learn what all the other previous Uncles have gone through... which is making a wedding list.
Oh how I love it!
So my partner in crime for Dashmesh Pictures will be my partner in crime for life. Ms. Supreet Kaur and I will be marrying with a goal sometime late this year (congrats to us).
But before booking a venue and setting up all the wedding preparations, I've learned that the hardest task is making a wedding invitee list.
Why is this so hard?
Because you have to pay anywhere up to $50 to $100 a head for whoever attends. So that's been my struggle for the last couple of weeks.
My rough list started with 267 people, and then went down to 200 people, and now I'm down to 100 people. And that's not including Supreet's, Supreet's Parents, and my Parent's list.
Oh boyyyyyyyy. The fun is just beginning.
No offense to anyone out there who gets cut. If it was my way everyone and their mama and bama mama would get invited. But, such is life.
So since this is an obscure web log, enjoy the following video:
My good ol' buddy Harinder sent this video my way. Looks like my new hobby (one day) will be getting into M.U.G.E.N. editing.
Hasta!

Sartaj, congrats! I know the excitement might not be there with all the wedding planning stuff. If you ask me...(after having gone through it) save yourself the stress and have a fast and simple wedding/party. One can spend a lifetime (and boatloads of cash) on weddings which end in a day. There is so much hype and expectation that people attempt to make it this "perfect" day which doesn't exist. I think the stress related to the planning isn't worth it. But hey...I'm a guy. The girls might think differently. Bottom line is keeping it balanced and enjoy the day.
I was thinking that it would be fun to finally meet you and be there at your wedding...but I would hate to raise your count. Hahaha....
Give my regards to Supreet.
Thanks for your kind words Mr. Sikhnet! Actually that last post was my attempt at sarcasm, but it looks like I didn't do a good job Boss. Actually I'm quite happy with the idea of starting the marriage process. Supreet and I both have a good sense of humor, so we'll get through in flying colors.
Your words and thoughts are exactly what my family, and Supreet's family have in mind.
Thanks for your advice, and I'll be sure to be leaning on you for some marriage advice. Maybe a new section on marriage advice. Hmmmmmm.......
